Shang Car Ltd. is a professional car dealer (we provide car rental, used car for sale, car insurance etc) based in Hangzhou and operated for more than 6 years.
Jan. 2000: To own a car in China were considered a luxury commodity back to 2000, it has been only several years since private chinese individuals been allowed to own a car, with that there were not so many used cars on the car market for sale at that time. Our initial idea was to provide the car services to our clients in Hangzhou was provide car rental service in Hangzhou. And at that time there were no used car company to serve expatriate community in Hangzhou.
We found out that some of our clients browsed various websites that are supposedly created for foreigners and despite seeing a variety of stuff for sale among the expat community here, none seems to trade their cars. Unfortunately almost all the resources to buy a car, say used car, second hand car in Hangzhou are in Chinese. This is a struggle for our clients at that time.
March 2002: Shang Car begun to provide car rental service, sell used cars in Hangzhou. Shang Car became the first company provides car solution services to Expatriate community in Hangzhou.
Nov. 2007: After 6 years' development, Shang Car Ltd. now provides car rental service, used cars and car related services in Hangzhou. It becomes one of the longest established used car companies in Hangzhou.
